My life's journey has been an interesting one.  One thing I have learned about what enriches it the most, is surrounding myself around influential and good people to learn from and in-turn contribute my knowledge and time to them.  I began a major life transition in terms of my career three years ago.  At 42 years old, I was scared to take on such a change for many reasons.  However my excitement and passion for Information Technology and Cybersecurity have driven me beyond that fear.  My passion is in SOC analysis and Incident Response.  Investigating alerts and trying to piece together what happened to isolate a dangerous threat and to prevent it from occurring in the future.  My initial goals have been met of acquiring my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and then earning my Security+ certification this October 2022.  That is just the tip of the iceberg to the certifications I want to receive.  I am proud to have made the strides I have, and look forward to being a part of an organization that believes and offers the same qualities I exhibit.
